[dropcap]I[/dropcap]sreal Adesanya, the UFC Middleweight Champion, has called Nigeria a very corrupt nation.
The mixed martial artist from Nigeria and New Zealand claimed that while he loves Nigerians, there are several warning signs regarding the nation.
The Hut Boxin’ audiovisual podcast recently had a segment on The Last Stylebender.
Adesanya emphasized that the Nigerian authorities are zealous in their attempts to steal public fund.
Recall that on April 9, 2023, Israel Adesanya defended his Middleweight title at UFC 287 by knocking out longtime rival Alex Pereira while sporting the Nigerian flag.
The Brazilian fight earned him $3.18 million, putting him the third highest-paid UFC fighter in the current rankings, behind Conor McGregor and Jon Jones. It is his largest payout to date.
