Lionel Messi missed training with Paris Saint-Germain after travelling to Saudi Arabia with his family without the Club‘s permission.
PSG have now suspended the World Cup winner for two weeks without pay, and further punishment including a hefty fine will be considered as disciplinary measure against the 35 year-old.
PSG are yet to convince Lionel Messi, who has until June 2023 on his current deal, to a new deal.
The club is hoping to ward off offers from Saudi Arabia and FC Barcelona in the summer for the Super star.
