The 35-year-old forward, a prominent figure in the realm of football, has consented to end his exceptional carrer with the Spanish club, according to an announcement on Sunday by AFP.

There have been tales about a potential move to Saudi Arabia for the player.

According to Real Madrid’s statement, “Real Madrid and our captain Karim Benzema have agreed to put an end to his brilliant and unforgettable era as a player at our club,”

They offered their thanks and love for the player, hailing him as quite possibly of their most prominent legend.

After stating that Benzema still had one year left on his contract, Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed certainty about the player’s future at Madrid.
