Gist legit reports that Adeleke and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party were on Wednesday attacked at the Eid praying ground in Osogbo.
A group of hoodlums, allegedly led by prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is said to have taken control of the governor’s section, causing chaos.
The situation heightened to an attack on Moruf Gangaria, an member from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) representing Osogbo federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
In the midst of the chaos, Governor Adeleke and his entourage arrived at the venue to find themselves surrounded by Governor Adeleke.
The situation forced security personnel attached to the governor to quickly evacuate Adeleke from the venue, even as his endeavor to arrive at the assigned prayer point was hindered two times.
Politics Today detailed that many prominent leaders of the PDP in Osogbo were exposed to attack and physical attack during the unfortunate incident.
