BREAKING: Hushpuppi’s ally, Woodberry Sentence to 14 years jail term over $8Million scam
Woodberry, Hushpuppi’s ally, is said to be facing a 14-year prison sentence for an $8 million scam.
According to reports, internet fraudster Woodberry was given a 14-year prison sentence on Thursday by US Federal prosecutors for defrauding multiple US companies.
Hushpuppi and his companion, Woodberry conceded to count one of the eight includes brought against him in the US court. Woodberry agreed to hand over luxury watches and $8 million in wire fraud proceeds to the foreign government after pleading guilty.

“The government recommends that this court sentence the defendant to 168 months’ imprisonment, which is sufficient, but not greater than necessary, to comply with the purposes set forth in 18 U.S.C. § 3553(a),” the prosecutors said. “The government further recommends that the court order restitution and forfeiture as described above and impose a special assessment of $100.”
