Nollywood Actress Mimi Orjiekwe reportedly arrested over N700m fraud

The Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Ikoyi, Lagos State, is said to have taken Nollywood actress Mimi Orjiekwe into custody on Monday night due to a failed N700 million contract.

It was assembled that the celebrity neglected to convey the multi-million naira contract award to her by a businessman, Mr Micheal Diongoli.

As indicated by a report by Blogger, Cuttie Julls, Mr Micheal Diongoli paid an all out amount of N700million (700,000,000 naira) straightforwardly to Mimi Orjiekwe to get the obtainment agreement to supply specific household interior-design furniture items, yet she failed to deliver.

Meanwhile, witnesses say Mimi Orjiekwe had been on the case for almost two months after receiving the N700 million naira from the businessman.

The details of her arrest read “Mr Micheal Diongoli had filed a petition to the Ikoyi law enforcement police department to help locate and arrest Mimi Orjiekwe who was at large.”

“It is has been established that Mr Micheal Diongoli had paid a total sum of 700million naira (seven hundred million naira) directly to Mimi Orjiekwe to secure the procurement contract to supply specific household interior-design furniture items.
However; Mimi Orjiekwe but she has failed to deliver the said items.”

“It’s largely rumoured in Mimi’s close circus that the actress had previously mentioned to few that she was confident Mr Michael Diongoli would remain behind bars for a long time when he had issues with the Nigerian Interpol.”

“Guess fate got on the wrong side of Mimi as Michael Diongoli has been released by the Interpol and has been expecting Mimi to complete the job he paid her for but all efforts has been unsuccessful as Mimi is suspected to have used the money for other personal interests. 🙆‍♀️👩‍🦯”.
