Ilechukwu Applauds Igboke’s Super Eagles Call-Up

Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has commended Kenneth Igboke following his recent invitation to the Super Eagles. Igboke was called up by head coach Finidi George to join the national team for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic, replacing the injured Victor Osimhen.

Ilechukwu expressed his admiration for Igboke’s dedication and talent. “Congratulations Kenneth Igboke on your first national team call-up. This is a reward for hard work. I have had faith in your ability from day one. I believe you will make me and the Rangers family proud in the national team. I wish you all the best, sabi player,” he wrote on X.

The left-back has been a standout performer for Rangers this season, scoring three goals. Igboke is set to join the Super Eagles squad this weekend.
