Netanyahu Sets Conditions for Ending Gaza Conflict

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined the conditions for ending the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip on Saturday. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Israel demands the complete destruction of Hamas’s military and governing capabilities, the release of all Israeli hostages, and assurances that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel.

Netanyahu emphasized that these conditions are non-negotiable prerequisites for a permanent ceasefire. “The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter,” the statement read.

The Prime Minister’s firm stance underscores Israel’s commitment to dismantling Hamas and securing the safety of its citizens before considering any cessation of hostilities.
