In a tragic incident in Yobe State, gunmen suspected to be terrorists have murdered a policeman, Sule Babur, at his residence in Mairi community, Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area. Following the killing, the assailants set Babur’s house on fire.
DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Police Public Relations Officer for Yobe State, confirmed the incident. He stated, “The perpetrators also set his house ablaze. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation is urgently needed to bring the culprits to justice.”
