Rick Ross Attacked After Playing Kendrick Lamar’s Diss Track at Canadian Concert

US rapper Rick Ross faced an attack following his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada.

Ross reportedly played Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us,” directed at Canadian rapper Drake, to close his performance. This move provoked a group of about 15 men, who confronted Ross and his crew as they left the stage.

The verbal altercation quickly escalated into violence when one of the men punched Ross in the face. The extent of any injuries or if any arrests were made remains unknown.

This incident comes after Ross expressed support for Kendrick Lamar during his feud with Drake in May 2024. Following this, Drake dissed Ross in his track “Push Ups,” to which Ross responded with “Champagne Moments.”
