Transfer: Chelsea Not Including Jackson in Exchange Deal, Clarifies Romano

Chelsea is not planning to include their attacker Nicolas Jackson in any exchange deal during this summer transfer window, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Rumors had surfaced suggesting that Chelsea was interested in signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle United and was willing to offer Jackson to reduce the £115 million asking price for Isak. These reports claimed that Chelsea wanted Isak to spearhead their attack under new manager Enzo Maresca next season.

However, Romano clarified in a tweet on his X account that Jackson is not being considered for any negotiations and remains a key part of Chelsea’s project. He added that Jackson is very happy at Stamford Bridge and is solely focused on his role at the club.

Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal, had a mixed debut season but still managed to score 17 goals and provide six assists across all competitions for the West London club.
