Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke was unveiled by Sudanese giants Al Merreikh Omdurman on Tuesday, according to GISTLEGIT.
Olorunleke recently signed a two-year contract with Al Merreikh but had to wait until the end of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season to officially join the Red Devils. His last appearance for Enyimba was in a 2-0 victory against Plateau United last month.
This move marks Olorunleke’s first time playing for a club outside Nigeria. The 28-year-old has previously played for top NPFL clubs such as Kano Pillars, Sunshine Stars, Akwa United, and Abia Warriors. He also served as Nigeria’s third-choice goalkeeper at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
