In an interview on Wednesday in Lagos, Ibrahim Farinloye, the Lagos Territorial Coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), confirmed the incident.

NAN was told by Farinloye that some workers were trapped inside the building while it was being built.
He stated that all of the emergency services were on their way to the incident’s location.
