[dropcap]S[/dropcap]panish giants Sevilla defeat Roma 3-1 on penalties to win the Europa League on Wednesday.
During normal time, both teams had played to a 1-1 draw in a frantic match.
After receiving a pass from the midfield, the Argentine forward Paolo Dybala gave Roma the lead midway through the first half.
However, Mancini bundled the ball into his own net under pressure from Sevilla’s Ocampos, ending Roma’s lead.
The game went into additional time and neither one of the sides could start to lead the pack in the midst of a few goalscoring chances missed.

By missing his spot kick, Mancini established himself as the villain of the Europa League final.
Gonzalo Montiel scored the triumphant to give Sevilla their eight Europa League win and automatical qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The victory confined Jose Mourinho to his first European Cup final defeat in six outings .
