After Hilda Baci whipped up a storm in Lagos, another Nigerian lady has set up her own kitchen trying to beat the Guinness World Record for the most time spent by an person in a cooking marathon.

In September 2019, an Indian chef named Lata Tondon cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes, breaking the previous record.

Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, staged a major kitchen upset in May 2023 and worked 100 hours behind the kitchen.

Another young lady by the name of Chef Damilola Adeparusi started a cookathon in the state of Ekiti on June 9, 2023.

3. She has cooked for 20 hours As of the hour of composing this story 8:30 pm Friday, Chef Dammy has cooked for 20 hours and then some.

She had already passed the 12-hour mark when news of her cooking triumph broke on Friday afternoon.

4. Her cookathon is taking place in Oye Ekiti, while Chef Dammy’s is in Ekiti state and Hilda Baci’s was in Lekki, Lagos.

In particular, the cookathon is happening at the FUOYE-JUPEB road in Oye Ekiti. A flyer on the Twitter account of @SpiritWordGM contains this information.
