Davido celebrates his police escort on social media as he gets promoted to inspector (Video)

Davido, a Nigerian singer celebrates his personal police escort Bawo as he gets promoted to inspector in the Nigerian Police Force .

90 of the Nigerian Force’s officers had been elevated to higher positions, the organization had announced.

In a video that went viral online, one of the officers, Bawo, was seen being congratulated by the singer. In the video, Davido was seen putting a new badge on the stoic-looking officer and shaking his hand.

As he pinned the badge to his vest, OBO remarked, “Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force.”

Bawo thanked the musician for the honor on his Facebook page as well.

“Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen,” he wrote.
