Delta Governor Assures Peace Will Return to Rivers State

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has assured that peace will be restored in Rivers State during the inauguration of new infrastructure projects.


Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State expressed confidence that peace will return to Rivers State while inaugurating 21.49 kilometers of internal roads and drainages in the Egbeda community of Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State. He praised his counterpart, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, for the successful completion of the project.

Oborevwori emphasized the unity within the South-South region, highlighting the strong relationships and support between neighboring states. He noted that the region, being one of the wealthiest in Nigeria, has the resources to provide significant development and democratic dividends to its people.

Governor Fubara thanked Oborevwori for his presence and praised the contractor for the timely completion of the project. He assured the public that the current administration is committed to improving the welfare of the people and delivering transformative governance, as demonstrated by the completion of the Egbeda roads and efforts to address flooding issues in the community.
