Hilda Baci meets Billionaire Tony Elumelu, discusses business innovation at UBA Africa Conversations (VIDEO)
Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci was among the top dignitaries who made an appearance at the 2023 UBA Africa Conversations event in Lagos.
The Conversations which was held at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheater at the UBA House on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, saw the get-together of top management staff and business pioneers, drove by the Group chairman, UBA group, Tony Elumelu; Oliver Alawuba, Group Managing Director, and other significant players in Africa’s economic, financial, and business landscape.

An all-female panel of certified professionals from various fields comprised this edition of the UBA Conversation. Abiola Bawuah, who serves as UBA Africa’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, is one of them. Hilda Baci, who is still reeling from the accolades that accompanied her efforts to break the Guinness World Record for cooking for over 100 hours a few weeks ago, advised young Africans to be focused and empower themselves through the Art of reading at the event. She also stressed the significance of sustainability, discipline, and reading in business.
She stated, “As a young entrepreneur, even if you do not have money to take a business course, you can read. If you want to survive in the business world, it is important to arm yourself with information and learn, as this will keep you going especially in a world that is constantly changing.”
