“I don’t have to dress like a nun to make it in life” – Chef Hilda Baci defends her inappropriate dressing
In a new proclamation, Chef Hild Baci guards her inappropriate dressing as she advises Nigerians to look past her clothing and on second thought perceive her imaginative soul and resolute assurance in putting Nigeria on the worldwide stage.
This message was delivered by Baci in response to the widespread criticism she received regarding her attire following her rise to fame for her daring attempt to set a cooking world record.
The see-through dress Hilda Baci wore to her 27th birthday party, which was attended by celebrities, sparked a lot of online discussion.
As a reminder, Hilda Baci broke the previous Guinness World Record and established a new one by cooking continuously for 100 hours.
The chef, who was born in Akwa Ibom and held a press conference on Thursday, May 18, in Lagos, defended her fashion choices by stressing that it is possible to dress sexy and still make significant contributions to one’s field.
She stated, “I don’t have to be dressed like a nun to make it in life. One can be sexy and still amazing, beautiful, and smart. I shouldn’t be taken back because of my looks or dressing as this does not determine my values or endowment.”
Hilda Baci added, “I’ve volunteered myself to say I slay and I have something up in the brain.” as she pleaded with society to allow young women to look and be themselves without being judged.
