“I will break record” – Nigerian man applies to watch film for over 121 hours, Guinness world record approves
Adebiyi Isreal, a Nigerian from the state of Ekiti, tried to break the world record for the most time spent watching a movie marathon.
The aspirant informs the body of his plan by indicating that he has applied to Guinness World Records. The ongoing record holder is Suresh Joachim from Canada, who watched films consistently for a staggering 121 hours and 18 minutes in 2015.
Adebiyi posted a screenshot of an email he claimed to have received from Guinness World Records informing him that his application had been accepted.
“We are pleased to inform you that your application has been accepted under the following title: longest marathon watching films/movies (cinema).”.”
The Nigerian man took to Twitter to share the news to Nigerians. Special Thanks to Guinness World Records for granting us this application. Ekiti, Nigeria! Kindly anticipate!!!”!
