“I will dismiss you” – Vice Chancellor threatens to expel female student over indiscipline dressing (Video)

In a recent incident at the university of port Harcourt (UNIPORT), the alleged vice Chancellor has gone under scrutiny after he took steps to rusticate a female student for what he considered as revolting dressing.

The Vice-Chancellor is seen disciplining the female student in the classroom in the video, which has been widely shared on various social media platforms.
Since then, a video of the Vice-Chancellor confronting the student has gone viral on social media, igniting a heated debate on campus and elsewhere.
The Vice-Chancellor, accompanied by university officials, inquired about the student’s level of comfort in what he perceived to be an indecent outfit. He also questioned the student’s choice of attire.
The Vice-Chancellor remained steadfast in his stance, stating that the university should not tolerate students who dress immorally, despite the student’s request that he reconsider his decision.
The student asserted that she felt at ease in her chosen attire and that she was not exposing herself.
However, the Vice-Chancellor’s response was confrontational rather than engaging in constructive dialogue.
He signaled his intention to remove the student from UNIPORT by instructing the officials to collect the student’s matriculation number and other personal information.
