Icon of the Seas: A look inside the world’s biggest cruise ship that’s five times bigger than the Titanic
Icon of the Sea is the world’s biggest cruise ship which is 5 times the size of the Titanic and is to bring travelers into untamed waters in January 2024.
Royal Caribbean International’s mammoth ‘Icon of the Seas” is 365 meters in length (1,200 ft) and will weigh 250,800 tons. The Titanic, on the other hand, weighed 46,329 tonnes.
Even though the length of the ship is longer than the height of the Eiffel Tower, the extras on board make this ship big.

At the point when it heads out in Caribbean waters one year from now, it will convey nearly 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew.
It has 20 decks and eight “neighborhoods” designed to accommodate its enormous passenger load.
The boat is also a home to the world’s biggest waterpark at sea- which is named Category 6.
Over 40,000 gallons of water will be used to fill the enormous pool, which has six record-breaking water slides on the open deck.
Businesses are concerned because there are 35 fewer cruise ships scheduled to visit Guernsey this year. The ship has more leisure activities than most British towns, including an ice rink, restaurants, bars, and clubs.

For the sea trials, many experts were ready to assess performance more than four days.
Royal Caribbean says a second set of sea trials is booked for later in 2023.
The firm put out an announcement after the ship’s first sea trials to say everything went to according to plan.
According to the statement, “During her first set of sea trials, Icon of the Seas traveled hundreds of miles, during which the main engines, hull, brake systems, steering, noise, and vibration levels were all tested,”
Everything was done on time as outlined in the schedule, despite her departure being delayed due to wind conditions.”
The cruise will take its passengers on a seven-night Caribbean holiday from Miami all year round.
For the more daring passengers, the ship has a “sky walk” where people will be harnessed and walk along a narrow platform with nothing but the deep water below.
Royal Caribbean International’s website says “when you least expect it, the floor beneath your feet could disappear, leaving you dangling high over the ocean”.
Since the announcement was declared there has been record breaking ticket deals, as per CNN.
Icon of the Seas has employed approximately 2,600 people per day since its construction in Finland.
