Megwo Optimistic Ahead of Abia Warriors’ President Federation Cup Clash with Sporting Supreme
Sunday Megwo, a forward for Abia Warriors, has expressed confidence and readiness ahead of their President Federation Cup Round 32 match against Sporting Supreme.
The Abia Warriors will square off against Sporting Supreme at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Wednesday, and Megwo believes his team is well-prepared for the challenge.
Speaking to the club’s media, Megwo highlighted the team’s rigorous training regimen since their previous match against Rivers United, emphasizing their dedication and lack of rest in preparation for the upcoming fixture.
“We are prepared because after our match against Rivers United, we’ve been training, no rest at all, we even had to train on Sunday,” Megwo stated. “Now we came here into Edo state on Monday, we still trained, so, I will say we are prepared for the match.”
Abia Warriors are determined to secure a victory in the President Federation Cup match against Sporting Supreme after failing to qualify for the tournament last season, where they were eliminated in the preliminary rounds by amateur club Ahudiya FC.
