Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, will not be transferring to Saudi Arabian club El-Ettifaq after the club pulled out of negotiations.
According to SCORENigeria, El-Ettifaq withdrew from the deal due to an inability to reach an agreement with Nwabali’s current team, Chippa United of South Africa. Despite this setback, Nwabali is still expected to depart Chippa United during the summer transfer window, as two other clubs have expressed interest in the 27-year-old goalkeeper.
Nwabali has garnered significant attention following his impressive performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire. This season, he has maintained 10 clean sheets in 25 league appearances, a notable improvement from his six appearances last season.
