Senator Abba Moro Criticizes Governor Alia’s Administration

During an expanded caucus meeting of the Benue Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Makurdi, Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Abba Moro, expressed concerns over the governance style of Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia. Moro accused the governor of running a one-man-show administration, suggesting that the current state of affairs in Benue was not indicative of effective governance, but rather, a singular approach to decision-making.

Moro urged members of the PDP to set aside their differences and prioritize unity within the party. He highlighted the mistakes made by the ruling Benue APC administration under Governor Alia, implying that these missteps could serve as opportunities for the PDP to regain power in the state. The senator stressed the importance of party cohesion, emphasizing that unity was paramount, especially in the face of opposition.

In his address, Moro underscored the need for PDP members to work collectively towards bringing the party back to power in Benue. He urged them to avoid succumbing to personal interests and divisive tendencies, focusing instead on the common goal of restoring PDP’s governance in the state. Moro reiterated the presence of PDP in Benue and urged party members to exert efforts to ensure its return to power, emphasizing the collective responsibility to uphold the party’s interests above all else.
