As crossdresser “Bobrisky” wins Miss Netherlands 2023, there have been a lot of mixed reactions on the internet.
Rikkie Valerie Kollé, a family of the Bobrisky, was crowned Miss Netherlands 2023 on Saturday, the 8th Saturday in 2023. She became the first transgender woman to win the title.
Kollé will go on to represent her native Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in El Salvador later this year, after she wins the contest on Saturday. Ona Moody, her predecessor, presented the 22-year-old with a tiara onstage at the AFAS Theater in Leusden.
Taking to his official Instagram page, drag queen Rikkie Valerie Kolle composed;
The model stated in an Instagram post: “I DID IT !!!!!” also said in a post on Instagram. “Yes I’m trans and I want to share my story but I’m also Rikkie and that’s what matters to me,”
Kollé wrote. “And wherever you are in the world, I want to be there for you and be the example that I missed as a little me.”
