Vee Opens Up About Relationship Fears: “I’m Not Ready for Heartbreak”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has candidly shared her apprehensions about entering into a romantic relationship at this time. The reality star hinted at her reasons for remaining single, expressing her reluctance to experience heartbreak.

Taking to her X handle, Vee conveyed her sentiments, emphasizing her desire to avoid emotional pain. She stated firmly, “One thing I don’t have time for right now is heartbreak. I’m not in the mood for that at all. No bueno abeg.”

In another post, Vee reflected on her approach to love, acknowledging her capacity to love from a distance while remaining grounded in her sense of self. She wrote, “I’m very good at loving someone from a distance. I won’t fight my feelings but I won’t fight my sense either.”

Despite her inclination towards love, Vee hinted at the challenges she faces, describing herself as “Born to be a lover girl, forced to deal with love-bombers.”

Recalling Vee’s past relationship with fellow Big Brother Naija contestant Neo Akpofure, their romance garnered attention during their time in the Biggie’s house in 2020. However, their relationship encountered difficulties post-show, with Neo revealing that Vee approached him for reconciliation during the All-Stars season but was rebuffed due to lingering issues with his cousin, Venita Akpofure.

Vee’s openness about her reluctance to pursue love further underscores her commitment to safeguarding her emotional well-being in the face of potential heartbreak.
