“Where did the fan love go?” – Asake accused of abandoning his fanbase as fame grows
-
Mr. Shizzy, a Nigerian man, recently took to social media to criticize Afrobeats sensation Asake.
-
He said that Asake neglected his fans and didn’t talk to them on different platforms.
Mr. Shizzy recalled the early stages of Asake‘s career, when the artist actively engaged in fan interaction via funny promos, dance challenges, and interactions on social media.
But the fan says that Asake started to ignore his fans as he got more famous, not retweeting their posts or organizing giveaways.
Mr. Shizzy’s tweets claim that Asake’s fan interactions and promotional efforts have decreased since his rise to fame.
The dissatisfied fan stated that Asake has been able to maintain some level of online engagement thanks to the assistance and support of fellow artist Olamide.
While Asake’s released album ‘Mr money With The Vibe‘ has been getting a charge out of worldwide achievement, Mr Shizzy regrets that the craftsman has not been partaking in interviews or intuitive meetings with his fans.
Mr. Shizzy drew comparisons between Asake and Olamide and praised Olamide for his dedication to his fans. He explained that the well-known artist used to acknowledge his fans for about eight years before easing off.
Mr Shizzy entreated Asake to build his limited time endeavors by leading more meetings and adopting a more forceful strategy in advancing his music, underscoring that Olamide’s help could not be accessible all of the time.
The fan’s message recommends that Asake’s absence of contribution and indifference with regards to his own venture is disturbing, taking into account his impending show at O2 in a couple of months.
Mr. Shizzy emphasized that this is not the time to relax; rather, it is the time to intensify efforts for his project. He advised Asake to participate in interviews, both local and international, and to actively promote his songs.
The artist’s response to the concerns expressed by his dissatisfied fan remains to be seen, as does whether or not he will take steps to reconnect with his following.

you don't even care anymore, you dropped an Album that is topping almost every chart in UK but common Interview in UK you are not doing, you have a show in O2 in few months from now but no presence of you in UK, you don't retweet what your fans post about you, it's Olamide Baddo

that is helping you to engage your fans, when Olamide started, Olamide was very consistent for at least straight 8 years going all out to interact with his fans granting both Local and international interview, doing different dance Challenge, but you think it's time to relax
