After telling the Saudi club he wants to leave this summer, Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing for a return to Spain.

According to the most recent Spanish reports, Ronaldo is willing to play for Atletico Madrid in an effort to leave Al-Nassr, according to rumors about his future.

His desire to return to Europe is not surprising, and Spanish outlet El Nacional reports that he has offered himself to Atletico Madrid for the upcoming season.

The 38-year-old Al-Nassr player wants to “return to a demanding and competitive league in which he can show that he is still physically prepared to play in the elite,” with LaLiga being his priority given that Al-Nassr is expected to finish second in the Saudi League.

The former Real Madrid player reportedly told Al-Nassr’s owner Mohammed Bin Salman that he would like to leave the club this summer despite earning €200 million annually, which places him among the top 10 highest-paid footballers in the world for 2023.
