A man has been arrested for allegedly carrying a bomb on the premises of a bank in Dadin Kowa, located in the Jos South area of Plateau State.

The incident was reported by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X. According to the report, the bank’s vigilant security staff spotted the suspect with a bomb and quickly raised an alarm. The suspect was apprehended before any harm could be done.

An angry mob gathered at the scene and demanded the suspect be killed. However, he was eventually handed over to the police for further investigation.

A photo shared by Makama showed the bomb strapped around the suspect’s midsection. It remains unclear if the suspect is connected to any terrorist organizations in the country.
