Skiibii Responds to Allegations of Wearing Fake Richard Mille Watch

Nigerian singer Skiibii has addressed claims made by his ex-girlfriend, actress Ms DSF, that he was seen wearing a fake Richard Mille wristwatch.

The controversy began when @Fakewatchbuster shared images of Skiibii sporting the watch on Instagram, commenting, “For those who keep asking about that RM001, yes, that’s not a legit Richard Mille; as you can see from the pic, there are a lot of differences clearly visible from the distance.”

Ms DSF added to the conversation by commenting with a laughing emoji, “Made in Yaba.”

In response, Skiibii took to his Instagram page to clarify that the wristwatch was a gift. He posted a video on his Instagram story showing the moment he received the watch.

In the video, Skiibii is heard saying, “My n*gga just gave me a Richard Mille just like that mehn. Adel, Hassan, just give me Richard Mille o! He comot ham say make I take.”

Gistlegit: Ms DSF Discusses Intimidation of Men by Successful Women
In a separate discussion, Ms DSF shared her views on how some Nigerian men feel insecure around successful women. Speaking on the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, co-hosted by reality star Tolanibaj and actress Moet Abebe, she noted that many men are uncomfortable with their masculinity when faced with a successful partner.

Ms DSF explained that she has encountered men who are intimidated by her success, emphasizing that it takes a “very secure” man to support and love a successful woman.

“When you are successful, beautiful, and have everything going for you, it can be intimidating to a lot of men. I’ve had a lot of my male friends tell me that I come across as intimidating. It takes a very secure man to support, encourage, and love someone who is successful, beautiful, and has everything going for them. You have to bring a lot to the table. I don’t have to prove what I am bringing to your table; you have to show me what you’re bringing to my table. You’ve to level up and beat my level.”

She added, “It takes a lot for a man to do that and for him to be secure in his masculinity and not feel like the successful woman is overbearing.”
