Infant

Children 6 months and older

Need to clean foods, do not eat food, do not eat too hot food and must be clean. Use 0.9% physiological saline solution to gargle children. Give children plenty of fluids to clean their mouths after eating.

Because the child's resistance is not yet complete, when treating, the fungus should not go out all at once and peel the mushrooms on the tongue. In serious illness, you must see a doctor for antifungal medication, both topical and oral, to treat.

Prevent

- Clean the oral cavity, tongue of children properly and regularly.

- Do not let infants suck pacifiers for too long, do not breastfeed for more than 20 minutes, do not suck on babies when sleeping.

- Limit children to snack, candy, and soft drinks in the evening to avoid creating an environment for mushrooms to multiply.

- When a child has thrush, it is necessary to follow the prescription prescribed by the doctor and not arbitrarily use antifungal medication for the child.
